Sheila's three children have been champions of change as well.

Billy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn invited Rachel to their home in Plains, Georgia after Rachel's very successful fundraiser for the Carter Center to eradicate guinea worm disease. Sheila's son, Ryan Shelly's art called "Target on Peace" painted when he was 8-yrs-old became the global marketing campaign logo for the Brady Center and the Ohio Coalition against Gun Violence and Sheila was introduced to Space for Giants through her daughter Emily Walker, who at age 13 founded "Kids Against Animal Poaching" (KAAP). Together, Sheila and her three children have been long-standing supporters of Space for Giants, reflecting a shared commitment to wildlife conservation and advocacy.
